Obituary for Macklin "Mack" Taylor
Macklin Thomas Taylor, 46, of Lake Worth, FL passed away peacefully at his home after a two year battle with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He was raised in Kenosha, WI but born in Waukegan, IL to Billy and Brenda Taylor, and one of three children. Survived by his wife of 19 years, Silvia; sons, Tino and Tony; mother, Brenda; brother, Billy Taylor, Jr.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Franco and Giulia Carnevale; brother-in-law, Orest Carnevale; nieces and nephews, Reena, Carson, Sofia and Franco; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a village of close friends.
A sports fanatic, Mack enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams the Dodgers, Cowboys and Alabama Crimson Tide. Roll Tide! He also played golf regularly on the weekends. He was a kind hearted, laid back, caring guy who loved to hang out at home and play board games with his boys. He took pride in protecting his family emulating his favorite comic book hero Thor. Mack had a knack for snapping one-liners from movies or songs that span generations and was blessed with an excellent memory and witty sense of humor. Mack’s family loved to attend Dodger games and concerts together, especially 80's rock or metal bands.
He was preceded in death by his father Billy Taylor Sr and sister Lynette Jensen.
In lieu of flowers an educational fund has been set up for the boys. Please make donations payable to Silvia Taylor in trust for Tino and Anthony Taylor.
